Douglas Lin, DDS
Dr. Lin is a distinguished dental professional who proudly graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1996. After honing his skills in a postgraduate residency at the James Wadsworth VA Hospital in Los Angeles, he returned to his roots in the Bay Area, taking the helm at Hercules Dental Care in 1999. With a passion for providing exceptional dental care, Dr. Lin has not only mastered general dentistry but has also pursued extensive training in both implant and periodontal surgeries, ensuring his patients receive the highest standard of care. He holds an IV conscious sedation permit from the California Dental Board, allowing him to offer a comfortable and relaxed experience for those undergoing more complex procedures. Growing up in San Francisco, Dr. Lin cultivated a love for the Bay Area that extends beyond his professional life. He completed his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley, where he developed a lifelong passion for both the 49ers and the Golden State Warriors. When he’s not in the office, you can often find him cheering for his favorite teams or enjoying the beautiful local scenery. Dr. Lin is dedicated to his patients and community, making him a cherished figure in his area.
Andrew Lac, DDS
Dr. Andrew Lac attended the University of California, Santa Barbara earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He went on to attend Loma Linda University School of Dentistry earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2014. Dr. Lac was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and was awarded by the Southern California academy of Oral pathology for his academics. Dr. Lac is also a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association. He met his wife while attending UC Santa Barbara and has plans to start a family in the East bay. Dr. Lac enjoys spending his time with family, playing badminton, and tinkering with technology. He is always looking to expand his knowledge in the field of Dentistry in order to help serve his community.
Francis Cruz, DDS
Dr. Francis SP Cruz, DDS, has proudly served the Vallejo community since 1986, bringing decades of experience and a patient-centered approach to dentistry. Originally from Guam, he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1976 to pursue his education, earning his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of San Francisco and his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Biomaterials degrees from the University of California, San Francisco. Inspired by his passion for science, medicine, and hands-on care—as well as his own challenging dental experiences growing up—Dr. Cruz is dedicated to creating a gentle, comfortable environment that helps ease patient anxiety and build trust. He believes that improving oral health plays a vital role in overall well-being and takes time to educate patients using clear explanations, imaging, and a compassionate pace, often reminding them, “I will never go faster than you.” A longtime Bay Area resident, Dr. Cruz has called Vallejo home for decades, where he raised his three sons. Outside the office, he enjoys hiking local trails, exploring scientific topics, and watching movies and anime.
